You're moving, closing, or refreshing, and there's equipment to deal with.
Office moves, floor closures, and IT refreshes all end the same way: a room, a cupboard, or a pallet of laptops, monitors, and desk kit that someone now has to deal with, usually against a deadline.

The default is to write it off.
That's the expensive option.
Under deadline, the easiest path is a single call to a recycler who takes everything, no sorting, no questions. It clears the room. It also throws away whatever resale or reuse value was sitting in that pile.
No time to sort what's worth keeping.
Under a moving deadline, nobody has the hours to grade individual devices, so everything gets the same treatment, even the equipment worth real money.
No record of what left the building.
A collection receipt says a van came and took things away. It doesn't say what was resold, donated, or recycled, or what it was worth.
Facilities isn't set up to grade laptops.
Whoever runs the move (facilities, IT, an office manager) has plenty else to coordinate. Asset valuation isn't their job, and it shouldn't have to be.
No evidence for your own reporting.
If someone above you asks what happened to the equipment, or wants ESG numbers on it, a skip receipt doesn't answer that.
We work to your deadline, not the other way round.
We can build the manifest on-site as the move happens, tell you what's worth recovering, and route each item properly, without slowing down the move itself.
